Not only are they incredibly insulating, but they also offer a level of comfort that is unparalleled. In fact, they might just be more sock than most people need! So why settle for ordinary socks when you can experience the exceptional quality and performance of our new American Field: Kodiak Edition socks?

Dominate the wilderness with the American Field Sock- Kodiak Edition! These socks are equipped with a terry loop padded foot bed, and over-plaited toes and heel for maximum comfort and support. Take on your outdoor adventures with confidence!

Despite the extra cushioning and tough construction, these performance designed socks are intended to be worn with footwear. They are not intended to be worn as house slippers. You certainly can, but wearing them on concrete and abrasive surfaces will impact wear.

Material Composition

Here at The Buffalo Wool Co., our yarn bases for all our gear is (and will always be) natural fibers. This means that the internal structure of your socks (the parts that touch your skin) will be made from bison fiber, merino wool, mulberry silk, and other 100% natural fibers.

The overall composition (the parts that touch your skin plus everything else) will include other materials like nylon or polyester. This is done to make the sock more durable and ensure that your socks work (and play) as hard as you do.

Best Socks for Planet Earth!

The more I wear them, the softer they feel. I can wear these socks 5 days a week! There is zero odor!! I bought a pair for both my boys . . .one camps in the wilderness of Taos, NM., at 9.000 feet and the other is an avid hunter and we all agree, these are the best socks on earth!

My favorite sock for work

The Kodiak edition boot sock is truly the warmest sock I have ever put on. I work in outfields in Utah and this is my go to sock when it is cold. Thank you

Nice

My first pair of bison wool socks. Very well made. Fit nicely. Only got to wear a couple times during late season deer hunts. Worn with a pair of not well insulated boots and they did very well. Much better than my other hunting socks. Will try another pair of a different style for work. Very nice.

Super soft

I have not had a chance to wear in cold weather hunting but they are super soft and comfortable. I am looking forward to hunting this coming winter in them to just see how warm they are. I’m also looking forward to buying the extreme gloves when they are in stock in my size
