This is by far our most requested product ever. I have worn my prototype pair 7 days straight, and the best way I can describe it is "Extremely Comfortable"

To be fair, I have never worn compression socks before and really wasn't sure what to expect. They weren't constrictive at all, but did give me leg support and kept my circulation going and my feet/legs didn't swell at the end of the day.

Dan and the team at Fox River have done it once more.  Mating our bison/merino in a terry looped footbed, with a 100% merino leg shaft, graduated compression, and just a fantastic feel.

Graduated compression (15-20 mmHg) improves blood flow and reduces swelling and the risk of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) and DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness). Superior fit and stretch offer all-day comfort.

  • URfit® System provides arch support and memory-knit construction
  • Fights fatigue by increasing blood flow up the leg from the ankle with 15-20 mmHg of graduated compression
  • Smooth, flat comfort toe seam
  • Foot is bison/nylon/polyester/spandex blend
  • Leg shaft Merino wool/nylon/polyester/spandex blend

Sock Sizing

Socks should fit as well as any of your other garments. The heel should sit on your heel and not under it as in a sock too small, nor half way up your Achilles as in a sock that’s too large. Socks should be flush against your foot with no extra material sagging. The toe seam should lay flat across the top of the toes.

Sock Heel at Your Heel
The sock heel should sit on your heel, not under it or above it.

Flat Toe Seam
The toe seam should lie flat along the top of your toes, not above or below.

Taut Across the Foot
Socks should be taut across your foot with no sagging material.

Love the socks!

Got the compression socks to keep my broken ankle from swelling. Super comfortable socks. Not itchy at all. I wore them all day the first time I wore them. My leg and ankle hardly swelled up at all. Washed them in machine, came out great. Highly recommend.

I love these compression socks. They stay up and are warm, heck I wear them on the heat as well. They are the best present my wife could have gotten me!

Compression Socks Review

I have neuropathy caused from diabetes. Buffalo Wool compression socks make my life and feet so much more comfortable. I work construction and before I found these I had to change socks sometimes mid-day. I can wear these socks more than one day if needed because of their excellent moisture wicking properties. My feet never smell because they stay very dry. The foot and heel are very durable and will last for years if you take care of them. Full disclosure, I wear these socks to bed because my feet are more comfortable with them on. Thank you Buffalo Wool for an excellent american made product that lives up to its name. Thank you for your excellent customer service. I will not be purchasing socks, gloves or hats from anyone else. You truly get what you pay for with Buffalo Wool.

Favorite Everyday!

Both my husband and I lovingly wear OTC Compression Socks. Comfy, warm and like a massage all day long. Traveling? yes. Hanging around the house? you betcha. Wore them to a "no shoes" jazz concert last night.

Wow Factor!

I initially bought these OTC Compression socks to wear with my trail riding boots for long days in the saddle. They are completely as advertised. No toe seam, padded foot bed, warm and soft. No itchy wool feeling, and stay put over lots of ride miles traveled in varied terrain. I was so impressed that I ordered more.
I then decided to place another order to see if they were acceptable to my husband who is valiantly trying to survive brain melanoma and is on intense medication that causes major foot & leg swelling, and drug reaction skin rashes that move in unpredictable patterns daily. The OTC Compression socks were an immediate improvement compared to the regularly available synthetic compression socks that we can purchase locally. The relief he got after changing to the merino/bison blend compression socks was immediate. No burning skin irritation, comfortable to stand and walk in, not so tight that he needs assistance putting them on. No binding below the knee. I am so grateful to have this design available! I am ordering more this week so he has them available to wear every day.
Thanks for this new design! I love every item I have purchased from The Buffalo Wool Company.
