This has become my absolute favorite of all our socks... wear them with boots, shoes, waders... they are lightweight, warm, wicking and extremely comfortable. This latest run is almost bulletproof too. Just don't shoot yourself in the foot...

Sometimes a product idea just completely makes sense. We spent a lot of time experimenting and futzing with the base yarn for our B.O.S.S. Socks, trying to get something extremely lightweight, breathable, wicking, cushioning and durable. Getting the proper ratios of bison, wool, bamboo, to insulate, breathe and wick.. and the right amount of twist, not so tight it doesn't have "spring" not so lofty it doesn't wear properly. It took us more than a few attempts, and we missed the summer selling season last year, but our all-weather B.O.S.S. socks have been nothing short of a stellar smash. SO, we thought we would do the next logical thing and make a crew height version of this sock. (Mostly because short socks look kinda silly in dress loafers)
It is really the exact same ultra-tough design as our Casual Crew sock, just with a lighter, more breathable, softer fiber blend, they are extremely long-wearing and supportive but not restrictive.
A "true rib" jersey knit crew sock of the old-school variety, this sock has the great foot fit and stay of our technical socks. It is insulating, soft and durable, and wicks moisture away like nothing you’ve ever experienced.
These socks are incredibly easy to care for and due to their antimicrobial properties, feel free to wear them a few times before washing. But when they do need to be cleaned, simply machine wash warm, then toss them in the dryer.
Sock Sizing
Socks should fit as comfortably as any other garment. The heel should rest on your heel—not under it (as with a sock that’s too small) or halfway up your Achilles (as with a sock that’s too large). The sock should be snug against your foot with no sagging fabric. The toe seam should lie flat across the top of your toes.

Taut Across the Foot
Socks should fit snugly across your foot without any sagging material. If you wear wide shoes (E+), consider
sizing up.

How to Care for your favorite bison fiber gearMaterial Composition
Here at The Buffalo Wool Co., our yarn bases for all our gear is (and will always be) natural fibers. This means that the internal structure of your socks (the parts that touch your skin) will be made from bison fiber, merino wool, mulberry silk, and other 100% natural fibers.
The overall composition (the parts that touch your skin plus everything else) will include other materials like nylon or polyester. This is done to make the sock more durable and ensure that your socks work (and play) as hard as you do.

Amazing socks, i work construction and live on a farm so finding a pair of socks that keeps my feet comforted but not holding moisture in my boots has always been a struggle, from cheap socks to darn tough I can say that these are by far the best socks I’ve ever owned and keep my feet dry and comfortable all day long. Highly recommend if your someone like me and your feet are always running hot.

Thanks to my husband’s recommendation I tried these socks. I have cold feet and these are the answer. They are cushioning and warm as well as being very kind to my toes. I now have 6 pairs and moved all my other socks to the back of the sock drawer. You don’t know what you have missed until you try them.
These take no special care - just throw them in the washer and then into the dryer - they fluff up and look like they had never been warm.

They breath, but aren’t drafty. They’re warm and soft. And...I wore them for 3 days in a row without any smell. That’s the antimicrobial property of bison wool. I’m ordering more pairs for me now...and a few for friends and family for Christmas presents. EVERYONE needs a pair or 12 of these socks!

These are great socks for the early spring and autumn in Maine. They keep my feet warm without sweating. Depending on the weather I wear them with a pair of sneakers or my hiking boots. If my feet get wet they still feet my feet warm.

The socks are durable so far and have held up for a few weeks now. I haven’t noticed any sweatiness on my feet while wearing these socks even while exercising. The elastic around the ankles/calves are a bit too tight though.

Socks are worth every penny! Keep your feet, warm, dry, and comfortable. Hold their shape and perfect when you do a lot of walking. With minimal care, these socks will last you years!
