Limited Edition socks, is that really a thing? ... well, I guess it is now. We struggled with a name, tried a contest, but nothing quite described these, but every one of our product testers came back with the exact same response. "These are really really nice"
Gift Boxed and ready to go.
200 pair of Large and 200 pair of medium available. These are a very special project we have spent the better part of a year on. It has been difficult keeping a lid on this, but we thought it would be a nice holiday treat.
We asked our friends at Qiviuk.com to make the finest bison yarn they have ever made, and they delivered. The bison fiber was dehaired in Peru to their extremely exacting standards.. less than 0.03% guard hair, then sent to Italy to be blended with super 200s ultra-soft merino wool and spun into a worsted yarn.
Then we asked our friends at Fox River Mills to make the finest sock they have ever made. We went through a lot of design work, and designed something we can confidently say is the best sock we have ever made.
This is the result. An extraordinarily soft and comfortable sock that is exceedingly durable, excessively wicking, and feels like slipping your foot into a cloud.
The specially designed 4 directional stretch panel on the back of the sock helps it stay in place perfectly (no sock slouch here) it also looks pretty cool.
Sock Sizing
Socks should fit as well as any of your other garments. The heel should sit on your heel and not under it as in a sock too small, nor half way up your Achilles as in a sock that’s too large. Socks should be flush against your foot with no extra material sagging. The toe seam should lay flat across the top of the toes.
Sock Heel at Your Heel
The sock heel should sit on your heel, not under it or above it.
Flat Toe Seam
The toe seam should lie flat along the top of your toes, not above or below.
Taut Across the Foot
Socks should be taut across your foot with no sagging material.
If you wear a wide shoe size (E+), consider sizing up.

How to Care for your favorite bison fiber gearMaterial Composition
Here at The Buffalo Wool Co., our yarn bases for all our gear is (and will always be) natural fibers. This means that the internal structure of your socks (the parts that touch your skin) will be made from bison fiber, merino wool, mulberry silk, and other 100% natural fibers.
The overall composition (the parts that touch your skin plus everything else) will include other materials like nylon or polyester. This is done to make the sock more durable and ensure that your socks work (and play) as hard as you do.
