No fine print or exclusions. We want you happy!

We guarantee you will love our American bison products.  These products are expensive and for that, they had better work for whatever you need to use them for.  We don't expect you to baby them. Our products are made for working hard and playing hard. You need to be able to count on your gear when things get cold.   We want you to be safe, happy, and comfortable, even if you chose to go fishing when its -20F. (sometimes that is when they are biting) 

When it comes to yarn -  if you don't truly love it - send it back! We believe you will love working with our products, but sometimes, things happen. Whether the color isn't exactly what you expected, or the yarn just isn't going to do what you want, send it back! You are never "stuck" with anything from us. We truly want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase!

If something is damaged in shipping or if we screwed up somehow, please contact us, we will send a prepaid return label.

You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. However, in most cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping

We are not in business to "profit" from shipping.  We offer free U.S. Shipping on almost all of our products to almost all destinations.  We ship primarily by US Postal Services via First Class (up to 13 oz) and Priority Mail (items under two lbs). 

By placing an order with an international shipping address you agree and are bound by these terms:

Customs, Taxes, and Duties

  1. The buyer is solely responsible for all taxes, duties, and fees that are due to customs and these charges are not collected or paid by The Buffalo Wool Co. 
  2. The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products.
  3. By placing an international order the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions. If product is seized and destroyed by customs, The Buffalo Wool Co. will NOT be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds.

The Buffalo Wool Co. is run by humans.   As humans, we occasionally make mistakes. It is our policy at The BWC we take on the responsibility of fixing those mistakes when they happen. As human beings, we also have hearts and are willing to work with you to make sure you have exactly yarn or garment you want. BWC and Your Personal Information

Your privacy is critically important to us. We have a few fundamental principles:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. 
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights. 
  • Like most website operators, The Buffalo Wool Co. collects non-personally-identifying information such as the browser type, language preferences, how you found The BWC (such as a referring site), and the date and time of each visitor request. The BWC's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use its website.
    The BWC also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments and reviews.  The BWC only discloses this information under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information.
