These are some extra black Extreme beanies we did for one of our larger customers, they are yarn dyed and not kettle dyed like our others, and as such aren't anywhere near as soft. They are still extremely insulating and wicking. Will keep you warm in the most extreme climates.
NGL they are a fair bit stiffer, and while they should wash up and soften up, they are already tagged and bagged and we just need to get them gone. SO, if you are interested, save a few bucks and get a really warm bison beanie.

Got it just in time for winter storm in Oregon, very good quality hard to explain but while using it my head never got hot or cold while working outside just stayed warm perfect hat for the winter, great customer service also had a shipping problem and was taken care of next business day

Owning another bison wool toque, I bought this one for my toddler so she will stay warm & dry here in the cold New Hampshire winters. Not only does this hat keep her head warm & dry but she also likes to keep it on her head which is a bonus. The beanie fits her jug-head well and has a nice textured feel which is not to scratchy or too soft. The beanie did not shrink when it got wet and it dried out in the open air by morning without any foul smells. This was the 1-size hat which fits my toddler well but easily pulled over my head.
