      Material Composition

Here at The Buffalo Wool Co., our yarn bases for all our gear is (and will always be) natural fibers. This means that the internal structure of your socks (the parts that touch your skin) will be made from bison fiber, merino wool, mulberry silk, and other 100% natural fibers.

The overall composition (the parts that touch your skin plus everything else) will include other materials like nylon or polyester. This is done to make the sock more durable and ensure that your socks work (and play) as hard as you do.

Great for Wearing When Plowing Snow

Didn't order it in time for the -20 days, but there was still snow to plow when it arrived and DH said it worked so much better than the combo of hats, cowls and scarves he had been using. He would definitely recommend it!

Warm and dry in the Freezing Snow!

Most of you know what I'm talking about-you HAVE to go out in the frigid, blowing weather, whether you want to or not. Farms, jobs, fun-you will not mind going outside while wearing this Full Head Mask-it will keep you warm & dry. I just got a few strange looks from our farm animals, but they didn't mind not being able to see my full mug. LOL

      Absolutely the Best!

Goose hunting, nothing even comes close. Light, warm, snug and comfortable. A great product and excellent design - fully functional (and easy to keep clean, too).

Great for a little added warmth

Bought this balaclava for added warmth during early Spring and late Autumn hunting. It fits well under caps and hoods. Some fleece balaclavas are too dense and thick to wear under headgear. The color does a great job of hiding my white hair.

      Heavy Balaclava

Got this rig near the end (we think) of the Nebraska hats cold so my testing isn’t yet exhaustive. Having said that, on a few am walks probably 0-20ish maybe it proved to be plenty warm. The fit is a bit tight when worn the whole way down but it’s new so I figure it’ll stretch out some. Can’t wait for next deer season to really test it but if it’s like other buffalo wool products I’ve purchased from you guys I’m sure it won’t disappoint.

      Balaclava

This balaclava got the approval of an Alaskan dog musher. Warm and comfortable.
