When you have to do things, and need your fingers available, these are slightly more affordable variation on our bison fiber gloves. These gloves are durable, absorb moisture without feeling damp, and retain body heat well.  When you need a good pair of really warm gloves that are extra tough, these fit the bill perfectly. Machine washable/dryable

Redesigned for 2023, some tweaks and improvements.
The density of the knit has been increased, slightly longer fingers, and the folded seamed cuff replaces the surged cuff for more comfort, warmer pulse points and a superior fit.

Glove Sizing

To find your glove size, measure (in inches) around your hand with a tape measure, at the widest part of your palm, just below your knuckles on the pinky side. It’s best to measure your dominant hand. Glove size in inches is the same for both men and women.

Measuring Tips

  • Wrap the tape around your hand without squeezing.
  • Measure at the base of your knuckles.

Material Composition

Here at The Buffalo Wool Co., our yarn bases for all our gear is (and will always be) natural fibers. This means that the internal structure of your socks (the parts that touch your skin) will be made from bison fiber, merino wool, mulberry silk, and other 100% natural fibers.

The overall composition (the parts that touch your skin plus everything else) will include other materials like nylon or polyester. This is done to make the sock more durable and ensure that your socks work (and play) as hard as you do.

Best fingerless gloves!

Love the warmth and they look good too.

Bison gloves in Scotland

I ordered these as gifts for my salmon and trout fishing guides in Scotland this month. Hoped they would enjoy the uniqueness of fingerless gloves from America made from American bison. I was spot on. They were thrilled with them and used them the day I gave them to fish all day, complimented them several times. This was about as tough a test as your gloves could have submitted to. Usual Scotland weather in the 40’s, wind, rain, spray from the boat and best of all, dozens of fish netted and unhooked.
You didn’t have a large or xlg for me but as soon as you do, I want a pair.

Great gloves, great company

I had a not so great experience with a different pair of gloves. The folks at BWC responded to me quickly and I ended up with these(at my request). I always wear fingerless gloves like these in the winter which is long in NH. These fit really well with longer fingers than most fingerless gloves, which is nice. Warm and soft. These are a go!

Snug and warm

These fit my hands very well. I really like the longer length of the fingers, where just the tips of my fingers are exposed. This gives me dexterity and maximum warmth.

Warm and awesome!

I’m a medical coder who sits at her desk typing all day w freezing fingers UNTIL these wonderful gloves!! I had never bought fingerless gloves before, and these are absolutely perfect for being able to still have the dexterity to type and yet keep your hands and fingers toasty warm. I didn’t think it would keep my fingertips warm but apparently once your hands are warm, the fingertips follow! Love these gloves, will never be without them again. Thank you BWC ♥️🇺🇸🦅

Comfortable

These gloves are comfortable (I got small and was concerned they would be tight but they're not) and keep my hands warm. Good purchase!
