When you need more protection, our full-fingered bison down gloves are lightweight, warm, and durable. Stay warm and comfortable under the harshest circumstances. Combined with the insulating, downy undercoat of the American Bison, until you put these on, it's hard to believe their ultra-soft comfort and lightweight warmth. Bison Down is harvested from buffalo in Colorado and South Dakota and then finely knit for maximum warmth with minimum bulk.

These gloves are so lightweight that they are only 1.5 oz per glove. These gloves are durable, absorb moisture without feeling damp, and retain body heat well. Bison fiber has no lanolin, which many people are allergic to. Machine washable.

Satisfaction Guaranteed: NO FINE PRINT! If you don't truly love them, send them back. 100% money back. These are expensive gloves, and if they don't work for you for whatever reason, you shouldn't be stuck with them.  We have been selling these for over seven years now, at hunting shows, and fishing events across the country, and have made this promise to everyone we have ever sold a pair to. - Ron Miskin.

Glove Sizing

To find your glove size, measure (in inches) around your hand with a tape measure, at the widest part of your palm, just below your knuckles on the pinky side. It’s best to measure your dominant hand. Glove size in inches is the same for both men and women.

Measuring Tips

  • Wrap the tape around your hand without squeezing.
  • Measure at the base of your knuckles.

Material Composition

Here at The Buffalo Wool Co., our yarn bases for all our gear is (and will always be) natural fibers. This means that the internal structure of your socks (the parts that touch your skin) will be made from bison fiber, merino wool, mulberry silk, and other 100% natural fibers.

The overall composition (the parts that touch your skin plus everything else) will include other materials like nylon or polyester. This is done to make the sock more durable and ensure that your socks work (and play) as hard as you do.

So warm and oh so soft!

Love these cozy gloves, one slight drawback is that the tag is sewn low on the cuff, and needs to be trimmed off. Warmest knit gloves ever!

Warm & durable

We use our bison gloves pretty much every day during the winter! They do get softer with washing. They are much more resistant to wear than wool, and stay warm when wet when you’re active outdoor things. Highly recommended.

These gloves are warm

These gloves keep my hands very warm. I walk my dog for up to one hour in 20 degree weather. I am surprised that my hands stay warm. I was wearing leather gloves with a liner in the past and my fingers would go numb. But not with these. This is another great purchase.

They really do live up to the hype! They fit perfectly for me, and they are so soft. I have to be careful with materials because I have extremely sensitive skin, and these gloves DO NOT give me any skin reactions. :)
