USA Made with 100% American Components
I am not going to be modest, we have made a few pretty impressive socks here at The Buffalo Wool Co. From our extra heavyweight Trekker bison/merino crew and boot, our ultra-light warm and wicking Pro-gear bison/silk socks, our All-Weather all-around best short sock, The B.O.S.S., we push the envelope to create well loved (and reviewed) gear. Our drive to create socks designed and engineered to be the best for warmth, wicking, durability, flexibility, and sheer overall comfort resulted in the American Field (AF) Bison Boot Socks. Why AF Boot Socks Are So Awesome
Our American Field Boot Socks are our premier bison down socks. This calf high sock is great for almost any footwear from taller boots like hiking chukkas to tennis shoes. Created from ultra-soft bison fiber, these socks will keep your feet warm and dry all year long.
The American Field Boot Socks are warmer and more cushioning than our Pro-gear socks and thinner and lighter than our Advantage Trekker Socks. Designed to be the ultimate sock for regulating temperature, moisture wicking, the AFs are also incredibly supportive, light to wear, but just as tough as our Bison/Merino blends.
All About The Bison Down
The American Fields start with ultra-soft bison fiber. We monitor the fiber every step of the way from scouring and dehairing the fiber, to working directly with the spinning mill to determine the perfect amount of twist and loft in the yarn.
Once we have the perfect Bison yarn, we pair it with traditional fibers to ensure flexibility in all the right places and ultra comfort for all day wear.
