American Field Crew Socks, XL only

I wore a pair the day I received them. The outdoor temp was around 100 degrees, yet my feet stayed cool and dry. I’d say they live up to their claim. The only thing left to evaluate is the long-term durability, which would make them an awesome value.

These socks are so much warmer than the super thick “wool” socks I bought from a department store. They’re not cheap but they really are worth it. They came just in time for the deep freeze!

My wife always has cold feet but doesn’t like restrictive socks. She loves them and says these socks are really warm, comfortable and snug but not overly tight in her feet.

I was a bit disappointed at the thickness of these socks given the cost. I would not purchase these again.

Exceptionally comfortable and warm socks for very cold upstate New York winters. The most frequent question is “Do they itch”? My answer is absolutely not, the comfort is amazing.

I have 12 vertebral fusions in my back and can no longer bend my spine like I used to and that means difficulty putting my socks and shoes on. These socks once I get them over my toes slide on like silk on a baby's ass. Easy to put on for me and wonderfully comfortable, High recommended.

These socks are incredible. Extra padding in the right spots, and no itching at all.
Part that covers the calf are loose enough to stay up without giving me the “compression band” on my calf at the end of the day. My “duck footed” sidekick loves them too. She wears boots to work and usually comes home with either sore feet or blisters from her feet sliding around inside the boots. Not with the American Field Cres Socks 2022. I started buying the full size Buffalo socks last winter for outdoor warmth. Wore them all winter around the house. Got the crews and am wearing into warmer weather. More comfortable than normal crew socks, not hot and keep feet dryer surprisingly. Can get several days use before washing unlike other socks. Fan!

I have been wearing wool socks exclusively for over a year now. I recently purchased the American Field Socks and they are absolutely my favorite over the other brands ( which are all high quality as well). The fit is snug and they are warm in cold weather. Conversely, they are not hot in warm weather. Due to a website issue, I ordered those socks by phone and spoke with one of the owners, Ron. He was extremely helpful despite the fact that I was calling him on a Sunday afternoon! I will be buying more from them in the future.

I own several styles of BWC socks and these are my favorites. I have several pair and comfortably wear them all year round. I’m diabetic and I especially like that these socks are not to tight.

Best socks ever. I have been wearing socks my whole life and always shopped for the best “deals”. What a mistake, by not shopping for the bed socks. I will never go back, my feet would never forgive me. Buffalo Wool Company socks crush all the other socks!

simply the warmest socks you can find. i use then inside my house as the floor is very cold in the winter. my problem of having to turn a little heater on to warm up my feet was solved with these socks

These socks were so comfortable from start, soft, fit well, and were warm as promised. After washing, still soft and warm. They can be warn several days in a row, with no loss of warmth or loft. Great purchase!

Soft, tough, comfortable, highly breathable, wicks away sweat very well, easy to clean (when they need it) and great for hiking and backpacking.

I'd always looked at socks as being just "socks", and nothing special. I first bought a pair of AF Bison Crews for a friend, as a gift that was something different. She immediately fell in love with them, and asked where she could get more. So, I bought some for myself. They're amazing, extremely comfortable and warm this last winter, but cool now that the weather has started to change. I can't recommend them highly enough! I've since added boot and compression socks and will be expanding my sock drawer even more in the next few months.

Absolutely love these socks. Think they're the 5th pair(various styles) I've purchased from Buffalo Wool. They do an excellent job keeping your feet dry and warm. The expedition weight otc sock is probably the warmest sock I've ever had on my feet and I've worn about all of them. They don't scratch and itch. Just a great sock to wear for the outdoors or for people who tend to have colder feet in office or other indoor daily activities.

The mail brought my order of socks just as I was getting ready to go for a walk. Put on my new socks, took a walk, and ordered three more pair as soon as I returned home. I like that the sizes are color coded on the toes. When my husband and I get the same hiking socks, mine somehow end up in his drawer if he sorts socks.
