    Quality

Received this tote and am pleased with the quality of bison leather. My husband has done leather work in past years, and he was very impressed with the workmanship of the bag itself. He did take a tool and took the sharp knife edge off of the shoulder straps, and worked them to a softer and more pliable fit. Other than that, the bag is terrific.
When you receive your bag, work the leather straps until they are softened. Leather cream gives a softer feel. Now I am now very pleased with the over all feel of the bag straps.
Duluth would make a step up, if they would kneed the leather more for the shoulder straps in the future, to not be so stiff. The bag itself is very soft. Not everyone has a husband with all the right tools to work the handles to give a better feel, and to take the sharpness of the end of the leather straps, by rounding off the cutting edge, and soften the leather straps as soft as the bag it self.
