Handmade Bison Tallow Soap by Holmestyle Homestead

The gentle cleansing, creamy lather of our Home on the Range blend will leave you feeling clean and fresh. We mix this popular blend of nourishing oils with various fragrances year-round for personal use and seasonal gifts.  Each bar of bison tallow soap is made in small, cold-pressed batches with strict attention to quality.  We offer 100% bison tallow soap (our Full Bull), formulated with an amazing lineup of luxury oils and hand-rendered Bison "Buffalo" tallow! Bison tallow makes a creamy, luscious lather and a hard, long-lasting soap.  The bison are raised organically and processed humanely, using all-natural ingredients.  Each bar has been cured for at least 4 weeks, allowing immediate use.  Soap colors and patterns will vary; each is handcrafted, individually cut, and packaged.

• Buff A'Scrub: When life leaves you covered in dirt, grease, and grime, it's Buff a'Scrub time. Made for backyard chores, gardening, ranch hands, and mechanics. The kind of soap that earns its keep, with a medium level of pumice to remove the grime, while leaving them soft. Ingredients: Saponified COconut oil, bison tallow, pumice, activated charcoal, and citrus essential oils.  
• Citrus & Clove: A delicious blend of sweet orange, litsea, and a splash of clove brings a citrus burst, while the clove adds warmth and spice. Uplifting, delicious, fragrant, and perfect for any season.  Ingredients are: Saponified Olive oil, Bison Tallow, Coconut oil, Shea Butter, Rice bran oil, colored with Mica. 
• Lavender & Peppermint: A heavenly blend of calming lavender and invigorating peppermint to indulge your senses! Saponified blend of Olive oil, Bison Tallow, Coconut, and Castor oil. Mica for coloring, lavender, and peppermint essential oils.  
• Oatmeal, Milk & Honey: Gentle, soothing, and timeless. Oatmeal Milk & Honey is a classic that leaves the skin feeling soft, clean, and cared for with every wash.  Ingredients: Saponified blend of Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Bison Tallow, Castor Oil, and oatmeal. Topped with oats for a rustic touch, with a scent of honey, oats, and milk fragrance.

• Oatmeal Stout: You will love the mix of oatmeal, orange peel, butterscotch, milk, almond, and vanilla added to our Bison tallow and lye soap recipe. The warm scent mixed with the creamy lather is both relaxing and calming. Colored with Mica.

• FREE of Phthalate, Paraben, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, and Sodium Laureth Sulfate 

• Clay-based soaps add coloring naturally, based on the minerals in the clay

Size and packaging: Each bar is at least 3.5 ounces, and is easy to hold.  Labels are simple and environmentally friendly, using unbleached paper with each bar individually labeled, listing all ingredients on the back. 

Care / Storage: 

To keep your soap bar long-lasting, it is important that you follow these simple instructions to care for your soap.

• Best if used within six months of purchase.
• Store bars of soap out of direct sunlight (as the sun may fade the colors and evaporate the fragrances) and in a cool, dry place.
• Soaps also last longer if adequately ventilated after each use. Soap can become mushy and quickly disintegrate if left in a puddle of water. Use a soap dish that is slotted for water to drain off or a soap dish with raised ridges for airflow.
