Seriously warm - Surprisingly soft
We created a sock from Bison down and silk that will keep your feet warm and dry all winter long. When summer comes, don't worry, they will also provide dry cool comfort in hot environments, with superior moisture regain properties, and exceptional air-flow almost double the wicking of fine wool. (keeps your feet dry and sweat free)
Exceptionally durable for outdoor activities, long distance running, hold up strong for eighteen holes, or just knocking around town in your sneakers. These socks are incredibly easy to care for and due to their antimicrobial properties, feel free to wear them a few times before washing. But when they do need to be cleaned, simply machine wash on the warm or cool setting, then toss them in the dryer.
We very carefully remove all the guard hair, and scour the fiber so it is soft, cuddly and very very warm. No prickly itch from these socks.
The shorter brother to the Pro-Gear Technical Boot Sock. A terry loop cushioned footbed, vented and structured instep for smooth fit...but crew height. A nylon over-plaited toe and heel for added strength where you need and want it most. 8" rise (on average)
We love our bison and you will too! Carefully collected and removed, our bison wool has a feel and functionality like no other. I still have my socks on as the weather changed from being really warm to a very brisk ‘cold’. The Sun is out, but the weather is a brisk cold today... I’ve come to the recognition that my Bison Wool socks to be an equivalent to a good pair of hiking boots... 😃
Socks are great at transitioning from indoors to the cold weather outside; still comfy 👍🏻🙂
Love the socks.
Unfortunately my cat does too!
These socks are extremely comfortable on long walks and hikes and for doing outdoor tasks. We’re in the south, so we aren’t going to need them for warmth, and were pleased that they performed so well in our summer heat!
These are truly the unicorn of all socks! The only thing that would make them better is if they were black and cheaper! ;-) They’re incredibly comfortable, very soft, and they wash really well. I’ve only had mine for a year, so I don’t know about long-term durability, but I do expect them to last quite a while. I’ve given them as gifts three times, also, and everybody has absolutely loved them. I can’t recommend these any higher, and I can’t wait till I can buy more!
Outstanding product!! I own just about every make and model of socks these folks offer, and these are fantastic like all the others!!
I wear size 6 shoe and ordered small. They're so soft and they fit my small foot perfectly. Big plus – they're made in the USA!
