Pro-Gear Technical - Bison/Silk Boot Socks
i buy bison socks for my husband for “special occasion” gifts, he can’t stand to wear any of his other socks any more! most of the bison socks i’ve bought him are heavier weight, a little too much for summer comfort. these are perfect! thanks!
We have other socks we have purchased from you, but these ProGear socks are the best yet! I feel like they will last longer with the re-enforced heel. I tend to wear out my socks at the heel pulling my boots on and off all the time! Plus, they are comfortable and I feel they will prove to be warm on our packing in trips this summer and also when winter rolls in again!!! Thanks so much! S
Most comfortable socks I have ever owned, period. With that said they are also the most expensive socks I've ever bought.
I have owned these sock for a few months now and as disgusting as this sounds I wear them for two days at a time; yes I take a shower between the days, but the socks do not smell. I even wore them three days just to see if they would smell and they do not. I love them, I plan on getting more, but want to make sure they last.
They are very warm and they do a great job wicking the sweat from my feet during workouts.
I love my Pro-Gear Technical - Bison/Silk Boot Socks. I started with a bison down hat 2 years ago, but picked up my first pair of socks from BWC in February. I liked them more than I imagined I would so bought 2 more pairs. The are soft, warm—but still nice in warmer weather, comfortable, and stay up on my legs without falling or bunching. I find them true to size for the recommendations of M or L to match shoe sizing. Good for walking around the neighborhood, hiking or just sitting around the house. Overall, I high quality pair of socks. After over a half century of wearing socks, I have determined these to be my favorite! I’ll be buying more! Buy these socks--you will love them!
I am so happy with my socks. They are so warm and comfortable, and really look nice too. I’m definitely going to buy some more pairs!
+Pretty the best for warmth. I have cold feet despite living in the tropics, so these socks are great no matter what environment.
+Better than merino and any other synthetics for the same weight and thickness
+Robust quality since they're made by renowned sock mills
+Varied thickness in the lineup to fit various shoe width and sizes
-Expensive. To be expected since bison is hard to come by? And low production quantity
-Few colors available
-Might be too warm for people with warm feet and they might only wear them during the cold months
-"Not itchy at all" is a myth. All wool itches to a degree. I have sensitive skin, so yeah. I just have to wear liners underneath and the problem is solved! This also adds another layer of warmth (profit!).
Warm. Soft - all the right notes.
