A bison down crew sock that will keep your feet warm and dry all winter long. When summer comes, don't worry, they will also provide dry cool comfort in hot environments, with superior moisture regain properties, and exceptional air-flow almost double the wicking of fine wool. (keeps your feet dry and sweat-free) Exceptionally durable for outdoor activities, long distance running, hold up strong for eighteen holes, or just knocking around town in your sneakers. These socks are incredibly easy to care for and due to their antimicrobial properties, feel free to wear them a few times before washing. But when they do need to be cleaned, simply machine wash on the warm or cool setting, then toss them in the dryer.
We very carefully remove all the guard hair and scour the fiber so it is soft, cuddly, and very very warm. No prickly itch from these socks.

- 46% American bison down, 44% Polyamide nylon, 4% Tencel, 4%, Lycra & 2% spandex (the percentages don't really tell the full story though, the base yarn that makes up the body of the sock is 90% bison down, and 10% nylon, then we add additional nylon to over plait and reinforce the underfoot, toe and heel, and the spandex, lycra in the top, and the Tencel down the bridge rib)
Socks should fit as well as any of your other garments. The heel should sit on your heel and not under it as in a sock too small, nor half way up your Achilles as in a sock that’s too large. Socks should be flush against your foot with no extra material sagging. The toe seam should lay flat across the top of the toes.
Sock Heel at Your Heel
The sock heel should sit on your heel, not under it or above it.
Flat Toe Seam
The toe seam should lie flat along the top of your toes, not above or below.
Taut Across the Foot
Socks should be taut across your foot with no sagging material.

This is my 3rd set!! Absolutely love them!!
Love these, warm for our cold weather here in East Coast w humidity
Very comfortable even during the hot August high temperatures!
I have gotten rid of all other socks, I only wear BuffaloWool Company socks since getting my first 3 pack.
I received my AF crew socks just in time for an overnight communications operation in the mountains. Daytime was hot; my feet were not. Nighttime was cold; my feet were not. It's like layering without having to layer. Very comfortable!
As always... your socks are as advertised. Thank you "Be well, keep doing good work" B.
I started out with 3 pairs of these and wore them extensively. I’ve used them in frigid winter temps, spring and just order another 3 for summer. Amazing socks. Your feet stay dry, comfortable, and no irritating ridges. Customer Service is excellent! Responsive to questions and really care!
Outstanding socks like everything Buffalo Wool Company makes. I've worn them in 90 degree weather and they kept my feet cool and dry.
