Handwoven in Minnesota by the legendary Faribault Woolen Mills, this rugged bison-and-wool poncho is built to last a lifetime. Blending premium 64s wool with luxurious bison yarn, it drapes generously at 52" × 72" and tips the scales at nearly 5 lbs — dense, incredibly warm, and ready for the range, the trail, or the back porch.

Fringed Poncho — Specs:

  • Warp: 100% 64s wool | Fill: bison & wool yarn
  • 52" × 72" (52" × 36" folded, including fringe)
  • Northfield Plaid warp — gray stripe
  • 3" rolled fringe ends
  • Made in Minnesota by Faribault Woolen Mills
  • Dry clean or hand wash cold. Lay flat to dry due to the wool fibers.
  • **Mill seconds are a small error in the weave. One row was misweaved, so small that the mill gave us a $25 discount on the weaving, so we are passing the savings on to you!

So glad I got this!

The ponch is lucious feeling, and wonderfully warm. Reminds me of a Farubault blanket I bought at the mill in the 1950s. I LOVE IT! Did have to shorten the neck slit so it would stay on my shoulders, which was about a 5 minute project. I'm a bit smaller than the guys it was designed for . . .

Nice and warm , can’t wait to wear it on a cold snowy day.

Quite possibly the best wool poncho ever made!

I love Buffalo Wool Company and I love this poncho! Truly a great gift, and stylish! The socks are the bomb and now I have a lounge around overgarment that isn't just another fleece coat! Thanks Ron!

Poncho for life

Bought this poncho on the merits of Buffalo Wool Company and their Buffalo herd.
WOW!!
Great feel to the poncho and the head hole is well built into the poncho.
Clean seams and when on the shoulders, it is comfortable and strong.
The weave and coloring are excellent with a greyish brown hue. Very similar to a poncho I bought in Ecuador in 1980 that I still have in my closet.
The drape is good and not overly heavy. Look forward to trying it out now in the Notth Carolina winter.
