Advantage Bison/Merino Beanie

Good quality, fit, and warmth.

This is the best beanie I have ever worn and I have tried A LOT of beanies. The beanie can be adjusted for whatever size head you have and it is extremely light and comfortable but don't let the weight fool you. I've worn this hat in negative temperatures and it kept me extremely warm. This is the real deal.

I have used it a few times and it keeps my head and ears warm.

Got one for Christmas, took it to Yellowstone for more than a week, loved it. I got something similar for my gal and she loved hers, too.

Soft.
Comfy.
Not a lot of tension on my big noggin.
Surprisingly warm for its light weight and thickness.

There are times, of course, when you need a more serious winter hat. (Trapper hat, rear lower skull coverage, ear flaps meeting under the jaw.) We found that these beanies were perfect most situations, with down parka hood up, or n the car, walking around in the snow without a full jacket on. Maybe doesn't block a good stiff breeze, but again, different hats for different situations.

I'm tempted to go weigh my old timey military-spec black wool watch cap to see how it compares to this, because this feels so light.

I’ve been a toque(beanie) collector for most my life. Ive never found one that is just right until now. I live in Northern New England and am frequently in the fuzzy hills and by the coastline and this hat keeps me warm and comfortable. It is the right thickness and not too tight. I loved it so much I even bought it for my sister. My only issue with it is that it doesn’t come in olive or a shade of green.

This was a gift, for myself! The shipping was fast - same day as my order was placed. This and a pair of socks arrived quickly and were well packaged. At first, I thought the beanie was going to be too small but it stretched to fit my head without being too tight. The fabric used adjusted perfectly to fit. I haven't had this out in truly cold weather but wearing it at freezing and right below, it kept me head and ears warm. My head is shaved and this wasn't scratchy or irritating and breathed well. The performance so far has exceeded the 100% wool beanies that I already owned and the cotton versions don't remotely compare. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade what they have now.
