Each bar of bison tallow soap is crafted in small, cold-press batches, with meticulous attention to quality. We offer 100% bison tallow soap (our Full Bull), formulated with a fantastic lineup of luxury oils and hand-rendered Bison "Buffalo" tallow! Bison tallow makes a creamy, luscious lather and a hard, long-lasting soap. The bison are raised organically, free of GMOs, and humanely processed, using all of the natural resources. Each bar has been cured for at least 4 weeks, allowing immediate use.

Size and packaging: Each bar is at least 3.5 ounces and easy to hold. Labels are simple and environmentally friendly, using unbleached paper, with each bar individually labeled and all ingredients listed on the back.
Care / Storage: To keep your soap bar long-lasting, follow these simple care instructions.
- Best if used within six months of purchase.
- Store bars of soap out of direct sunlight (since sunlight can fade colors and evaporate fragrances) and in a cool, dry place.
- Soaps also last longer if adequately ventilated after each use. Soap can become mushy and quickly disintegrate if left in a puddle of water. Use a soap dish that is slotted for water to drain off, or one with raised ridges for airflow.

If you have trouble with rashes or bumpy skin, throw out the store brands of soap and try the bison tallow. We first got it for hand soap and noticed our fingers stopped spitting during canning season, then it wound up in the shower where we noticed our skin turning loose of all the built up paraffin and crap in the lotions. After a week our skin was no longer dry and flaky and we threw out all the Axe, Jergans, and dove products, everything but my shampoo. Almost a year later the only thing in our shower is bars of bison tallow. No more rashes, no more flaky skin, no more junk all over our shower. Even our shower is shiny and clean. We stand the soaps up on the shower ledge so they stay dry between baths and there’s not even soapy puddles or “drippers” running down the ledge… I’ve bought a lot of tallow soaps that left jelly like puddles, those are glycerine soaps and will leave that on your skin too. May favorite are the bison tallow & caster oil blends - but all the blends are great, my husband loves the tea tree and charcoal one! My shower pic is from the 25 year old shower in this cabin. It used to be all streaky and hazy glazed over 😂 so now even the shower wall is healthier! If it’s caked on your shower glass (or shower walls) it’s caked on your skin… Say no to stuff at the store and try this soap for at least two weeks, you may have a lot of build up on your skin and you’ll see it start to come off and your skin get better. Your skin needs to breath it’s the largest organ of the body.

i have to admit, i am a bit gobsmacked by the intensity of the scent, it’s rather overwhelming. i ordered four bars so i could keep one and give the others to my sisters, but i’m pretty sure the scent would keep them from wanting to use it. too bad, because it would be a wonderful product otherwise. my fault, i could have ordered unscented!

I like tallow products for my skin so I took an opportunity to try the offered soaps as I very much am satisfied with the Buffalo Wool Co products. I started with the peppermint buffalo tallow then let that bar dry out and tried the tobacco/vanilla one. I am thoroughly delighted with them both. When I opened them, my first thought was they smelled a little strong, however once they hit the water, they proved to be mild in fragrance and with very good suds to them. I place mine in a brisk cotton twine mesh bag and find them very soothing on my skin. Suggest you get two so one can dry out while using another. That way they last longer.

I love these soap bars! I have enjoyed a few of them, their fragrance is luscious and lingers on my skin for a long time~ only bar if soap I will use directly on my face. As long as you keep offering them, I will keep buying them!
