Made in the USA from de-haired ultra-soft bison down (and a little nylon for added durability). A very versatile midweight yarn; from scarves and shawls, to sweaters and socks, warm, durable, soft and all American! This is the yarn we knit all of our “Extreme Gear” gloves, scarves and hats from. Natural undyed buffalo brown, or carefully overdyed.

2-ply
90% bison down, 10% nylon

Solid knit pieces; gloves, hats, etc., machine washing is just fine, as is drying on low. It will not shrink, and it will help the yarn to bloom.  I wouldn't recommend machine washing lacework though.

Beautiful , warrrm yarn

I knit 3/4 of one skein into outside shell of 10" deep lined beanie/sock cap on #3 needles, the inner lining is musk ox, it's just beautiful and super warm in recent below zero windy weather. The second skein and leftovers became a 12" deep 30" around fold over neck warmer/cowl. Both are beautiful dark chocolate, and after wash and block, as soft and warm as a purring kitten!! Just lovely, my husband was quite happy to wear them in recent weather! 😊😍😁Sue kidd
