Extreme Gear Fingerless Gloves

These gloves are not only warm because of the material, but the weave is like wearing super nice ski socks on your hands. My absolute favorite part is the length of the fingers which cover everything but the last digit of your fingers. I am a smaller female and went according to the size chart that put me at a size large. Seemed weird, but was the correct choice, I’m sure. And I love that hobo/boho style plus being able to use my phone readily without any warmth loss. If my fingertips get cold, I just fold my hands together and they warm right up. I’ve only done probably about 6 to 8 hours in them so far so I can’t really speak of durability, but they seem very well made so I am hoping for years of use. I could see them getting super fuzzy with certain activities so I don’t know if you just accept that as part of the deal or if you use a sweater shaver on them maybe? I will update my review if they prove to get ratty but I always expect some fuzz with raw fibers.

I like how the gloves keep my hands warm, am not too happy with how furry the gloves have become after 4 days of use… fly fishing.
Not sure what to do with them now, other than use them just to keep hands warm. I can’t tie flies with them on as the fibers get in the way.

I spend a lot of time in the outdoors. My last winter camp was in January, and it ended up being -12 temperatures. These bison wool 1/2 finger gloves were the only gloves i wore. Had others incase..... didn't need them. After that i got the thick all bison wool beanie.... wearing both daily now. Work and in the woods. These are some very quality products.... oh and I had a little unstitching problem with one of the fingers on my glove..... called and left a message online.... responded quickly thar they were sending out a mending kit.... great customer service on top of great products.

Great gloves worth every penny!, I highly recommend. I had 100% Merino Wool fingerless gloves before these. The difference is instantly noticeable, it is worth the extra money to get these! A small price to pay to ensure your hands will be warm and comfortable. I fly fish year round, winters on the rivers in the Northeast/New York can be brutal. The cold stands no match to these gloves! The large fits perfect, snug but not too tight, not itchy, very comfortable!!

Have had only good orders with the Wool Co, but as it is currently summer here, the "Trouble and Strife" suggested they weren't necessary. Ain't that funny. Was thinking about sending them back, but after an exchange with Ron and all the good will he provided, our brief, but a thoughtful exchange about gas-powered and electric weed whackers struck a chord, so I tried these fingerless things on, and Oh! These are keepers, as the aforementioned T&S likes to control ie. not use, the thermostat in winter, these are a keyboard necessity, but presently I'm sweating like a... Bison, fer lack of a better term. The reality of the thermostat seems to be a cool, red dog's fart in summer, and nothing in the winter. These gloves are going to be handy.

Very well made. These will be great for chilly mornings during deer season.

Nice fit….hasn’t been cold enough to justify wearing yet. But hunting n steelheading coming up in a few months…… they’ll get a good real life test then😉!!! Thinking a bit tighter weave would make them more durable ……guess we’ll see. Thank you

Love these gloves… replacing a pair of wool gloves I've had for 25 yrs

Size is actually an XL unlike most gloves. The wool is incredibly soft but durable. I had a pair of these years ago that were taken accidently from our drying cabin in our remote Alaska Fishing lodge that were being sold under Filson...and I know this company had to be the supplier. Well, they are bomber gloves and will be with me for eternity now providing amazing warmth when wet, warmth when COLD!

I wear the 100% Tibetan yak cashmere gloves next to my skin inside the extreme gear bison fingerless gloves in cold weather. This way I am able to take photographs without exposing my fingers to the cold weather.

I slid the full finger ones inside my Vermont Glove work gloves and compared them to the merino wool Vermont Glove liners- it wasn’t nearly cold enough. The wind starts biting through and keeping my hands cold with the merino liners at about 20-30 degrees, as liners. These buffalo wool ones would probably go down to 0 and be fine. Haven’t tested it yet and I don’t know if it will get that cold again where I am at. But I am extemely pleased with these gloves.

The fingerless option will stay in my hunting, camping kit. Two is one and one is none, so I got both the fingerless and full finger. Highly suggest those interested to do the same.

Fantastic warm glove. I do a lot of work outside on our small where I can’t wear gloves. These fingerless gloves are the warmest I’ve owned. Whether I’m blanketing horses or giving a horse a little 1st aid, these gloves allow me to have the dexterity I need while still keeping my hands warm.

WOW! I bought these to use for ice fishing here in WI and sure glad I did. They are the warmest gloves I have ever worn for ice fishing. They are very soft and fit great in the fingers. VERY warm and soft. Perfect gloves for cold weather. Well worth the money.

I haven’t tested them in extreme temps yet.They seem to be made very well but the sizing is way off. I did exactly what your sizing chart said and both were extremely large.

We are having so much subzero weather in Wisconsin this winter. It’s brutal, but these fingerless gloves keep my hands toasty warm and are also incredibly soft.

The gloves are super warm and light. On me they cover to the first digit. Going to have to get another pair just for lounging around.

Amazing! Wore them fishing in the snow in the mountains and my hands were just cozy! Great customer service as well. The Buffalo Wool company is how companies used to be. They care about the customer.

I bought these to wear hunting in the cold Montana mountains. I like to have fingerless gloves for better trigger control. They do an excellent job keeping your hands warm and dry repelling snow. I paired them with the mittens for when you need that extra warmth

A little thicker would be great for the extreme version. For fall/winter fishing.

These gloves are my go to winter steelhead gloves for the wet cold days. Even when they get wet one quick shake and they are almost dry but they are still warm. Best thing I have found

LOVE THEM!! Great fingerless gloves keep me warm when I’m out taking pictures with the camera. Unfortunately I loaned them to my husband when he was fishing…… he loves them too! Guess we gotta buy a couple more pairs.

Just used them upstate and i like them. Soft warm and great fit. Get them.

Used them for the first time at the Sturgis Motorcycle rally on the cool morning ride. Gloves are very comfortable and got a lot of comments on the gloves and where I got them.
