Seriously warm. Surprisingly soft.
Our Pro-Gear Technical Bison and Silk Boot Socks have all the special features to fit your boot needs. We created a sock from Bison down and silk that will keep your feet warm and dry all winter long.
This sock has a terry loop cushioned footbed, vented and structured instep for a smooth fit, terry loop 4" x 4" shin pad and just enough spandex to hold it above your 12" boot top...but not enough to cut down circulation. Nylon over-plaited in the toe and way up past the heel for long smooth wear. Seriously warm. Surprisingly soft. The perfect sock for your ski boots, heavy winter snow boots or city rain boots. Socks should fit as well as any of your other garments. The heel should sit on your heel and not under it as in a sock too small, nor half way up your Achilles as in a sock that’s too large. Socks should be flush against your foot with no extra material sagging. The toe seam should lay flat across the top of the toes.
Sock Heel at Your Heel
The sock heel should sit on your heel, not under it or above it.
Flat Toe Seam
The toe seam should lie flat along the top of your toes, not above or below.
Taut Across the Foot
Socks should be taut across your foot with no sagging material.

I live in Alaska and it can get pretty cold up here. There is nothing like DRY comfortable warm toasty toes when its thirty below………. Money well spent. You will not be disappointed.
Love these socks! Gotta be truthful-they rank right up there with our alpaca socks... Only problem was that Jake & I wear different sizes and what a challenge that is when washing them-you know-which sock goes with which sock. So, I took a piece of pink yarn and added a 'decoration' on the back of mine. Problem solved. Maybe good idea for future production-add colors for different sizes. Thanks!!! Valerie
I got one of these a week or so ago. I did delay responding until the socks [Bison/Silk Boot Socks] were worn and washed. If that response got lost, here is a synopsis. My husband [the wearer] likes them a lot. Me [the washer] likes that part a lot. We will order more in the weeks to come as we can. Thanks for a very good product
I'm a die hard wool sock fan. Was looking for boot length sock to wear in my western boots when I ride. I hate my skin against the inside of the boot shafts. These feel great. I think they will do the trick well in the hot summer riding weather. Now I need some crew length socks.
Very nice comfortable especially the foot pad. Going to need at least one more pair!
I recently gave away over 50 pairs of high grade socks, after purchasing my Buffalo socks. They are fantastic, and are all I wear.
Next winter I WILL PURCHASE another pair of these socks they are awesome!
