Socks should fit as comfortably as any other garment. The heel should rest on your heel—not under it (as with a sock that’s too small) or halfway up your Achilles (as with a sock that’s too large). The sock should be snug against your foot with no sagging fabric. The toe seam should lie flat across the top of your toes.

Here at The Buffalo Wool Co., our yarn bases for all our gear is (and will always be) natural fibers. This means that the internal structure of your socks (the parts that touch your skin) will be made from bison fiber, merino wool, mulberry silk, and other 100% natural fibers.
The overall composition (the parts that touch your skin plus everything else) will include other materials like nylon or polyester. This is done to make the sock more durable and ensure that your socks work (and play) as hard as you do.

I bought these socks so I have natural fiber for when I wear compression socks on airplanes. These socks are so comfortable and warm that I wear them anytime I'm going to have a sedentary day (working on computer). These are more comfortable than I expected and I wear them as "everyday" socks rather than only for air travel. I appreciate wearing them for days full of sitting and I feel they help my circulation. I felt a little less stiff when getting up from my desk chair. And again, they're very warm! I recommend these, especially for cold, more sedentary days.

Compression: Offers perfect compression, ideal for reducing fatigue during prolonged activity or sedentary work. Tested in office for one day, and walking around the National Harbor area in freezing tempurtures for roughly 7 hours.
Warmth: Tested in below-freezing conditions for over 2 consecutive hours multiple times, these socks provide superior warmth, making them excellent for cold weather use.
