Beautifully detailed print of Mary's drawing of Quanah Parker, one of the legendary Chiefs of Texas and Oklahoma Comanche history.  He was also a friend of Charles Goodnight, and visited the Goodnight ranch on numerous occasions.  There is now a Quanah Parker trail of historic sites throughout the Texas Panhandle and Southern Oklahoma

Mary Selfridge was an incredibly accomplished artist up here in the Panhandle, but won International recognition.  She was a charter member of the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame, in Ft. Worth.  Here is a bit of her bio:  https://artcollection.io/artist/mary-selfridge.

Excerpted from that bio:  "Many of America's public figures have acquired her work—Louis L'Amour (who dedicated a book to her), Iron Eyes Cody, Dennis Weaver, Connie Stevens, Debra Hall, Chris Robinson, Robert Redbird, Josh Taylor, and a former Iowa governor."

These prints are on archival paper, with the additional vignette and her stylized signature.  Only a few left.   These are treasures!

S&D Spinning Mill, Millbury, MA, USA

Designed from the Ground Up

The Dearnley Family has been running S & D Spinning since the 1800s. This is one of the last large scale wool mills left in the U.S. and they are absolutely crucial to us keeping our production here in the U.S.
