S1-6 (Loaned to Joe Davis KLSR 6/28/25)
Celebrating 50 years of ownership by the J.T. & Oma Trew family (1949-1999). But it starts out with the original land grants and ownership starting in 1878.
Trew's - , himself a true son of the Texas Panhandle was captivated, as so many here are, by the art of Harold Dow Bugbee. Bugbee was prolific; he was quick witted both with pen and tongue (so I am told); his are is/was everywhere around Amarillo and Clarendon. Just another fine piece of the fabric of West Texas before computers. Unfortunately there are no Bugbee sketches in this little work, but there are some very fine photographs of the Trew Ranch.
