* Good news/bad news update, a glitch in making our glove yarns for 2024/2025 winter production. The good news is that we have fiber at the mill to start making our glove yarns, The bad news is that we will not have gloves for the fall/winter production line. Good news: We should have gloves in production for a late winter/early spring outdoorsman for the next hunt season. Please put your name on the notification email list and sign us for the newsletter as that is where all the updates will be. Thank you to everyone who has reached out!
A slightly more affordable variation on our bison fiber gloves. These gloves are durable, absorb moisture without feeling damp, and retain body heat well.  When you need a good pair of really warm gloves that are extra tough, these fit the bill perfectly.

Don't let cold hands shorten your hunting/fishing trip.

Redesigned for 2023, with some tweaks and improvements.
The knit's density has been increased by 20%, and the folded seamed cuff replaces the surged cuff for more comfort, warmer pulse points, and a superior fit. There is minimum elastic in the cuff and nylon on the cuff serging. Satisfaction Guaranteed: NO FINE PRINT. If you don't truly love them, send them back.

Care Instructions

Machine washable/dryable

Once you are ready to clean your gear, follow a few simple steps to care for your favorite socks, beanie, and gloves.

How to Care for your favorite bison fiber gear

Material Composition

Here at The Buffalo Wool Co., our yarn bases for all our gear is (and will always be) natural fibers. This means that the internal structure of your socks (the parts that touch your skin) will be made from bison fiber, merino wool, mulberry silk, and other 100% natural fibers.

The overall composition (the parts that touch your skin plus everything else) will include other materials like nylon or polyester. This is done to make the sock more durable and ensure that your socks work (and play) as hard as you do.

Amazing product, wonderful people

The gloves I bought were too large for my husband, and they were out of the next size down. I reached out and they got me set up with a pair they’d set aside for returns/exchanges. They sent them out to me before they even received the return. Extremely prompt, helpful, and kind. And the gloves are incredible!

Wow!

First off, I am thankful to God to have found a Made-In-USA company that makes quality knitwear. Second off, these gloves are thick enough so you KNOW they’re gloves but not too thick to where they are in the way. I highly recommend these gloves and I will buy more products from here in the future. God bless!

Fit like a glove

Very comfortable and warm . Another great product that I am proud to own.

I always try to remain objective but listening to someone that can’t open a package without damaging the product inside of it and then trashing the company does it for me. I have received about a dozen different products and packages from the same awesome company without ever having a problem opening a package. I guess I may be considered smarter than a piece of plastic. If ever disappointed with anything from these outstanding people just reach out to them rather then trying to take your frustrations out on a truly rare group of people building a business that makes me proud to spend my hard earned money on. And no I do not work for or am affiliated in any way with this company. I am just old , worked hard my entire life and recognize when others do and especially when they are trying to do what all American businesses should and that is keep as much product sourcing and production at home that is now possible in what we ourselves have created. Go BWC!!

Reach out to this company if you have any sort of issues- they will make it right like all businesses should, (but don’t).

Great Gloves

I bought these gloves for an elk hunt in Colorado because I got a little frostbite on my fingertips wearing fingerless gloves last year.
I wore these on several mornings this year and they were super warm and the fit is great. I’m very satisfied with these gloves.

Perfect

I have big hands, they fit perfect. Wore them for the first time hunting, my hands were nice and warm all day in 40° temps.

Failure of Shipping Package

I bought a pair of Advantage Gloves as a Christmas gift for my wife and looked forward to giving them to her. The package arrived in a non-tearable plastic bag that could not be opened by hand. With no other option, I used a pair of scissors to open the package and found that the gloves did not have a protective packaging around them - sadly, I had sliced off one of the fingers of the gloves while trying to open the package. I consider this a failure on the company’s part: If you have a valuable product, why would you dump it in a bag unprotected and expose it to the possibility of sharp objects that are required to open the mailing bag? Completely unacceptable to me - I will not use this company again nor will I try to reorder another pair. What a Christmas failure!
