Rogue Food Conference.
With our little homesteading and critter efforts, T and I don't get out much anymore, but this looks like it's going to be a lot of fun and some excellent information. It's also in one of the prettiest places in the country and near so many of our Virginia/Maryland/D.C. friends .
SO, we are gonna load up the Buffalo Wagon and head north in May. We hope to see you there!
They have an excellent array of fantastic speakers, and will be sharing a bit from each of them as we get closer to the event.
We had the opportunity to meet Joel Salatin of Polyface Farms last summer at the "What Good Shall I do" agricultural conference at ROAM ranch and we have learned so much from the man... both from his books (if you haven't read "Everything I want to do is Illegal" I highly recommend it) his composting videos are spectacular and how we learned how to compost the remains from our home processing.
Here is a good video from a prior attendee that I really thought did a good job of explaining the event. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu5Fw-Ninx0
