First off; Good morning.
Since we aren't going to brunch or church or anywhere really today I thought we could use some fun (was originally sending this out yesterday, so references might be slightly outdated)
One thing I have learned over the years doing this is that people like getting things, and we can give away some socks... (its the one thing we can do)
In the last couple of days, we have done some little social challenges, the first was just a "share a meme" and then last night we asked you to join us watching our friends Amanda and Daniel show off their pottery. (and Gina Banks, if you are reading this, please send me a note, and I will get you your prize code from Sat night)
Yesterdays challenge was "Show us your BWC Socks" and since it was Sunday and I felt like it, we have 4 (Four) Winners!
I will get your prizes on their way this Friday.
Going to make this as simple as possible.. every day we will have a challenge. Some days it will be as simple as 'share a pic of your BWC socks" or other days it will be something to help promote some of our friends.. but no matter what, it will be easy, online, and not cost you anything. We will share it on our FB page every day around 10 am (ish) Or, if you would like, we will have a little email out daily with that day's challenge. (will be a separate subscription list... you can subscribe below)
We spend a bit on Pay per click and retargeting ads, but I am turning those off until this Covid-19 crisis is over. We would rather spend that money putting socks on the feet of people who help and support us.
I don't think anyone needs to be buying bison socks right now, and as much as we do need to have customers purchase things in order to do things like harvest fiber, make more things, keep the lights on etc.. right now we need each other. When we get through this, we will hit you up with as much advertising and marketing as we can. In the meantime, lets have some fun, not stress about things that are our of our control. and maybe learn some things about each other.

Yes, we are still shipping (TBH, I am amazed how many people are sending sock gifts to friends and family.)
but because we are trying to limit contact with the outside world, we are now shipping once per week on Fridays. More info here... probably overkill, but trying to be safe.
