Seriously warm - Surprisingly soft
We created a sock from Bison down and silk that will keep your feet warm and dry all winter long. When summer comes, don't worry, they will also provide dry cool comfort in hot environments, with superior moisture regain properties, and exceptional air-flow almost double the wicking of fine wool. (keeps your feet dry and sweat free)
Exceptionally durable for outdoor activities, long distance running, hold up strong for eighteen holes, or just knocking around town in your sneakers. These socks are incredibly easy to care for and due to their antimicrobial properties, feel free to wear them a few times before washing. But when they do need to be cleaned, simply machine wash on the warm or cool setting, then toss them in the dryer.
We very carefully remove all the guard hair, and scour the fiber so it is soft, cuddly and very very warm. No prickly itch from these socks.
The shorter brother to the Pro-Gear Technical Boot Sock. A terry loop cushioned footbed, vented and structured instep for smooth fit...but crew height. A nylon over-plaited toe and heel for added strength where you need and want it most. 8" rise (on average)
We love our bison and you will too! Carefully collected and removed, our bison wool has a feel and functionality like no other. I still have my socks on as the weather changed from being really warm to a very brisk ‘cold’. The Sun is out, but the weather is a brisk cold today... I’ve come to the recognition that my Bison Wool socks to be an equivalent to a good pair of hiking boots... 😃
Socks are great at transitioning from indoors to the cold weather outside; still comfy 👍🏻🙂
I wear size 6 shoe and ordered small. They're so soft and they fit my small foot perfectly. Big plus – they're made in the USA!
Socks were on sale, so I saved some money on my purchase and now have more comfortable soft socks.
The socks are GREAT. Very comfortable and dry feet. These are the socks for hunting and hiking.
I just got back from a 2-week safari in South Africa. Wore Buffalo socks the whole time. Temps mid 40's to mid 80's. Feet never hot. Most comfortable socks ever. Walked lots of miles, no blisters, they just plain felt good the whole time. So glad I had these socks! Just ordered 2 more pair. Now I wear them every day - all my other socks are in the back of the drawer. I'm amazed every day how good they feel. Thanks BWC!
Very good socks. I was introduced to BWC by a friend who gave me a pair of boot/shoe inserts (a plug here- they are superb in rubber bottom field boots!!!), and then purchased a pair of the boot socks (excellent also, but heavier than normal- I use with pac-boots). My experience was so positive I got a 3 pack of the crews, kept one for myself, and gave the other 2 to my son and son-in-law. I use as my everyday sock (I wear composite hikers usually). I love 'em. Get a pair, you won't be disappointed.
Best socks I've ever had. They last forever and are good in the heat and for the cold.
