I appreciate both Dorothy's simple and descriptive writing style .... and her apparently unending interest in bison.
She was the first recognized author that when I contacted her during the uncertainty of Covid; pitched the idea of having kids write "something" ... either about one of our then free books or bison or whatever they might like - she was all on board to "critique" the kids works ... personally ... and help them to write "better".
The hardest part of the whole project (we eventually had 5 good authors and 3 great artists on board) was getting kids to write (or paint, draw, create something or text or anything!!). Anyway, Dorothy Patent was right in their trying to help. Thanks again!
