Hello and Good Morning friends!

We hope all is well in your part of the world. Been a heck of a week here... I have actually been required to work a bit, and while it's been fun, gonna need a down day soon.

Starting off Monday with a 3 hour USDA meeting on Animal health and disease research, somehow I managed to end up in a planning session and got called on more than a few times to give some thoughts on where we need to put research funding for bison, was pretty far over my head most of the time, but the NBA had done some really great prep work and I actually had a cheat sheet with most of the things I needed to know.

Then worked... lots of that, but Thursday I got to spend the morning at a local elementary school giving presentations for Career day, and hopefully I have gotten a few kids excited about ranching (not difficult out here) and textiles. Was a heck of a lot of fun, only had 10 minutes with each group, but had like 40 groups and kids always come up with some good questions and insights. I was amazed at how many understood spinning, knitting, weaving and felting. Really was a great time.

Last night I was on @KillerCarls Podcast, and had a lot of fun, we talked socks. bison, making things in the U.S. and then were joined by Jacob from Regen Holistic Health... and it got even better.

So, life keeps us all busy, but you got to occasionally stop and snap a pic of the wildflowers...spring has really popped here, we have gotten a bit of rain and plenty of sunshine, bringing birds, bees, and baby piggies. (they are still so cute and Sooooo flipping funny)

Hope you have a wonderful day
