How to Find Your Hat Size

  1. First, get yourself a tape measure made from a flexible material like cloth, fabric, or bendable plastic.
  2. Wrap the tape around your head, making sure you measure above your ears at the area where you prefer to wear your hat.

Although it is a matter of personal choice, a good spot to measure is the widest part of your head, as that’s where a hat often fits the best. When you get a measurement, consult the charts above to figure out your size.

Sizing Tips:

  • Measure several times to ensure you’re getting an accurate measurement.
  • Don’t pull the tape too tight; you always want to err on the side of having a little too much room.
  • If you fall between two sizes, we strongly recommend that you choose the larger in the interest of comfort.
  • Head sizes and shapes differ from region to region. The most common male size is 7-3/8 and the average hat size for females is 7-1/4

Best & Last Fedora you'll ever own (However, milage may vary).

I've had a few Fedoras over the years of my life; most of them are either too stiff or too heavy to wear year round. This one fits the bill for you to wear without worry; and most fashionable accessory for the modern male without looking like a Hipster or being Ironic. While some folks may think you're trying to be Indiana Jones; this gives off more of the Raymond Reddington vibe without being too forward or aggressive.

The classic example of a perfect men's hat for walking, hiking, beach trips or even just travel. It clears the head room of the average car from Sub-compact to a Luxury SUV without any issues as well as being able to flex against the headrest and not remain bent afterwards when you leave the vehicle. It needs a simple hat brush (same as a beard brush) to keep it in good shape and a light monthly brushing to keep it looking new.

If you're out doing Summer Activities wearingThe Outback; then dress "Resort Casual" as a way to make a statement without making one. Typically, a light weight polo/short sleeved collared shirt in a light color, quality cargo shorts (at or below the knee), and a pair of "BECK" BISON LEATHER SNEAKERS by Trask also sold by Buffalo Wool Company (ankle/short socks if you prefer).

Thank you so much for these kind words, I am so glad the hat fits the bill. If you ever need work, we could definitely use a copywriter with your wordsmith skills.

truly appreciated!

Don't wait buy one now.

At the time of buying this hat it was quite warm where I live. So I was hesitant about buying it. But I didn't want to risk it not being in stock or at a higher price in the future. I'm so glad I didn't wait. First off I love this hat. I've even wore it on some of the hotter days and it did real well. It's already become one of my favorites.

Love this hat. Fits well, looks so good I bought 2 colors! I'll be using these often. Not just for men....although I do love Reddington.....;)

Beautifully Crafted and Functional Hat, Highly Recommend!!!!

I received my THE "OUTBACK" IN NATURAL - ADVENTURER'S FEDORA today and I am totally impressed. It's very stylish and functional, keeps my bald head warm in the Colorado cold. The workmanship in this hat is superb. Thank you for making a quality product. I cannot wait to wear it to work tomorrow. I think I have found my new favorite hat.

My first thought was “so soft!"

I don’t usually write reviews, but on this website this is my second review of another awesome product. This hat is not only super soft (I own a Pendleton 100% wool crushable hat), and it’s not nearly as soft. Also, it’s super flattering. I can wear hats, my Hubby not so much. They always look kind of odd on him (I think it’s the proportions of his face), bit this hat? Looks really nice on him, and GREAT on me! I recommend it for sure, and did I mention it’s warm too! I’m very happy with my purchase, and will be wearing it all the time.

Perfect hat!

This hat is so comfortable and stylish. It’s going to be the perfect accessory for every fall outfit this year!

MCKestner (Saint Paul, US)

I can't recommend this hat enough! It exceeds all expectations - beautifully designed and constructed with great detail and perfect fit/function. I took my "usual" size. I have been searching for a multi-use hat for many months and this is it! I also appreciate the opportunity to support a great business.
