Carefully crafted in the USA, the functional and fun "Hunter" is perfect for the outdoorsman who prefers the colder months with which to journey and enjoy the earth. Ideal to wear during rain, snow, sleet, or hail, the broad-brimmed rustic style bends but never breaks. And the lightweight LiteFelt® material repels these elements with considerable style, for a felt fedora with which fellow campers, wanderers, and journeymen can marvel! Be noticed on your travels.

Bought this hat on a whim at a yarn convention over a year ago. This has turned out to be my absolute favorite hat and my go-to hat for nearly everything. I wear hats so I don't burn in the sun, and I use a good hat instead of an umbrella. I like a comfortable hat, the kind you forget you're wearing, and one that looks good despite abuse. This is that hat. I had high hopes for my Akubra hat, but I find that one to be bulky, awkward fitting, and just not what I had hoped for. My Buffalo Wool hat has usurped its place. I don't have to worry about stains, or getting it crushed. It was even chewed on by my cat, and with the help of a felting needle I was able to repair the damage so you can barely tell that I own a Bengal goat. I've worn it in over 100 degree weather and it was still comfortable. I've been known to come home from work and forget that I'm wearing the hat, and don't realize it's still on my head until I'm changing for bed! This hat is so awesome I'm buying one for my elderly dad, too.
Well made, good looking hat, fit as per measurement for the correct size to order, recommended. Thanks, for a good ole' USA quality product.
This hat was everything I'd hoped it be! Great quality, great craftsmanship, looks awesome! Highly satisfied!
This hat quickly became a constant companion of mine from the moment I bought it a couple summers back. It was my wife who spotted it, she loved the look right away and so did I. Now it’s a well loved hat that’s endured years of hard use out fishing, hiking and working in the field and it looks as good as it did the day I bought it. It crushes down in my pack without worry and usually regains its shape right away. Once, after several days packed away, it did take on a wonky shape for a while, but Buffalo Wool Co. was able to help over the phone. Turns out, steaming can easily restore the shape to its original form. It’s pretty warm in cool weather, obviously, but it also keeps my head surprisingly cool in the summer sun as well. It’s almost as good as my straw hat in that regard. Rain and snow are no trouble for this hat either. Most of the water just runs right off the brim and the hat never takes very long to dry. I’ve basically stopped looking at other hats at this point, this is the one for me.
