Fit well, supportive, well made!!
Sorry to see Trask getting out of the bison leather business, but it makes for a great value on the Garrett boots. Fit is accurate.
Recently, I ordered and received a pair of these interesting bison boots. The shipping was super fast, and packing was excellent. I appreciated that each boot arrives in a special cloth bag, which will make packing them for trips, very easy, indeed. Nice touch! Being a long-distance backpacker, my feet have widened quite a bit, since the old days, and I was a little worried that the bison boots would not be wide enough for my feet. I must admit that they are a tiny bit snug, but because they are also bison leather, which I know, from experience, can stretch, I think these Garrett boots are going to work out wonderfully! I'm going to wear them around the house, using a thinner sock than I usually wear, until they begin to give a bit, and then I’ll go back to my regular daily socks. The boots are exceedingly well made, and I love the excellent Vibram soles. Also, the boots are very good looking, and will work quite well for daily wear, and also a bit of casual dress-up, which is how I’ll be using them. Sincere thanks to Ron and Theresa, and the whole gang at The Buffalo Wool company, for doing a grand job, all around, and for offering these fantastic boots!! Once mine are slightly broken-in, I know they will last me a good, long time, and I really like them! My lovely wife also likes them, and in fact, was the one who recommended I check them out at the BWC website. Thanks, again, and I know we’ll be doing business in the future! I heartily recommend that anyone looking for a nice pair of Chukka Boots, check out your Garrett bison boots! Take care, and God Bless!
Every Good Wish,
