Great video on Horween Tannery... shows you a little bit how the leather is tanned and the people who do this.
The bison sneakers are gorgeous and couldn’t be happier with the quality.
I've not worn leather sneaker is a half century. They feel good, my wife is hap[py that I am wearing something other than my old man shoes, it is a winner all around!
These Trask sneakers are exactly what you need for sneaking up on Bison, LOL. Think more like boots than sneakers because they do need to be worn & broken in. I’ve had mine for over a week. Because I have a wide foot I got a half size bigger and that was the right choice for me. They look great and are extremely well made. They are now my #1 go to shoe.
Sneakers fit like a glove. Love the interior leather lining.
Socks are comfy and wick the sweat well on warmer days. Excellent support and soft texture to boot.
Bought a size 11 (usually a touch too roomy) but these were smallish in the forefoot. Hassle to return, so I hope the buffalo leather stretches out a little.
