A bison down crew sock that will keep your feet warm and dry all winter long. When summer comes, don't worry, they will also provide dry cool comfort in hot environments, with superior moisture regain properties, and exceptional air-flow almost double the wicking of fine wool. (keeps your feet dry and sweat-free) Exceptionally durable for outdoor activities, long distance running, hold up strong for eighteen holes, or just knocking around town in your sneakers. These socks are incredibly easy to care for and due to their antimicrobial properties, feel free to wear them a few times before washing. But when they do need to be cleaned, simply machine wash on the warm or cool setting, then toss them in the dryer.

We very carefully remove all the guard hair and scour the fiber so it is soft, cuddly, and very very warm.  No prickly itch from these socks.

Sock Sizing

Socks should fit as well as any of your other garments. The heel should sit on your heel and not under it as in a sock too small, nor half way up your Achilles as in a sock that’s too large. Socks should be flush against your foot with no extra material sagging. The toe seam should lay flat across the top of the toes.

Sock Heel at Your Heel
The sock heel should sit on your heel, not under it or above it.

Flat Toe Seam
The toe seam should lie flat along the top of your toes, not above or below.

Taut Across the Foot
Socks should be taut across your foot with no sagging material.

My new favorite socks!

100% worth every penny. These socks are softer than any of the merino wool socks and more moisture wicking as well. They’re the perfect weight for everyday use, although maybe a bit light for backpacking in colder environments. I highly recommend trying them out.

Best socks ever!

Husband really loves these socks—the all buffalo —keep his feet so warm he no longer needs to wear two pairs of socks. Customer service was super helpful as well. The packaging with the birthday card was a nice touch. Thanks!

Skeptical but proven wrong

Tbh i was pretty skeptical at all the claims hurled at wool socks, but after my first time wearing them to work, im sold on them. Most surprising was that they dont so much warm your feet, as they merely keep them at a steady natural temp regardless of the temp outside. Theyre not just comfy like a new pair of socks, theyre luxuriously comfortable, even on my extra wide loafs. And thier lack of foot smell is simply amazeballs.

I'll def be buying more.

Warms him up

Bought for my Husband and his always cold feet (who has ice cold feet in the summer?). They keep him nice & warm. Will switch to his heavier Buffalo Socks in the winter.

I have four different styles of socks from BWC,and I gotta say, none of them are disappointing in ANY way! The bison field crews are fantastic like all the others!! I've tried some of the competing wool socks, but nothing compares to BWC's fit and comfort! Happy feet can be yours too! Try a pair or 2,or 10, today!!

Awesome socks

These are the best socks I have ever wore. I have a drawer full of them.

Great socks!

Have loved all my BWC socks. The older I get the more I appreciate and recognize the value of quality things on my feet. These new crews are no exception, and just plain awesome. I started buying BWC for situations, under hikers in the summer heat, or heavy hunting boots in the cool fall or winter to waterfowl waders and winter snow boots. These new AFs seem to incorporate the best qualities of all of them in a single sock. Can’t say they are warmth tested as they haven’t seen a Michigan winter yet, but am confident they will do just fine. Have been wearing them in the 90 degree heat and high humidity and my feet have stayed comfortable and dry, socks staying put where they belong. Great moisture and wicking properties. Another winner from BWC!
