Socks should fit as well as any of your other garments. The heel should sit on your heel and not under it as in a sock too small, nor half way up your Achilles as in a sock that’s too large. Socks should be flush against your foot with no extra material sagging. The toe seam should lay flat across the top of the toes.
Sock Heel at Your Heel
The sock heel should sit on your heel, not under it or above it.
Flat Toe Seam
The toe seam should lie flat along the top of your toes, not above or below.
Taut Across the Foot
Socks should be taut across your foot with no sagging material. If you wear a wide shoe size (E+), consider sizing up.

These socks are incredibly easy to care for and due to their antimicrobial properties, feel free to wear them a few times before washing. But when they do need to be cleaned, simply machine wash warm, then toss them in the dryer. They get quite soft after a couple of washings.
Once you are ready to clean your gear, follow a few simple steps to care for your favorite socks, beanie, and gloves. How to Care for your favorite bison fiber gear
Here at The Buffalo Wool Co., our yarn bases for all our gear is (and will always be) natural fibers. This means that the internal structure of your socks (the parts that touch your skin) will be made from bison fiber, merino wool, mulberry silk, and other 100% natural fibers.
The overall composition (the parts that touch your skin plus everything else) will include other materials like nylon or polyester. This is done to make the sock more durable and ensure that your socks work (and play) as hard as you do.

These socks fit well and are warm, as expected, but are a little rough feeling compared to the other socks I've gotten from you. Thought the merino wool would make them soft. Hoping they will be sturdy and long-lasting.
These socks are wonderful. I always have cold feet and these socks are the only ones I have had that actually keep my feet warm. I wear them all of the time.
Too scratchy. Hope they soften with several washing.
these socks fit well; held up and retained shape after washing per instruction and are warm. they feel and appear well made with attention to product shape, durability and construction. They are currently my second favorite sock that this company makes. the wool is a bit scratchy for my hyper-sensitive skin so i would be surprised if i buy any more. imho a little overpriced. glad i bought them on sale for sure. in any case, i think these are better than many wool socks on the market
Very comfortable. Odor control is amazing. They can be worn for several days before washing.
Very good socks that keep your feet warm and dry. My only two negatives are they are a bit scratchy and they cost a bit.
These are toasty warm, but after 2 washing they are still scratchy. I tried wool wash without improvement. I am hoping they soften up more over time.
Title says it all. Thick, warm, breathable, damn good socks! The inserts are amazing too. They both suit the mountain life.
