Material Composition

Here at The Buffalo Wool Co., our yarn bases for all our gear is (and will always be) natural fibers. This means that the internal structure of your socks (the parts that touch your skin) will be made from bison fiber, merino wool, mulberry silk, and other 100% natural fibers.

The overall composition (the parts that touch your skin plus everything else) will include other materials like nylon or polyester. This is done to make the sock more durable and ensure that your socks work (and play) as hard as you do.

Giving as Gift

Eventhough I am giving them as a gift, I had to try them on. They are so soft and warm!! My daughter has trouble with cold hands so she specifically requested these for Christmas!

Ladies cabled Bison/silk gloves

Well, I got these for our daughter and our son's lady friend for a Christmas present, and that hasn't come yet, so cannot give a 'performance' review (the reason why I rated it at 4 stars). Not really 'work' gloves, more in-town, walk around the block, simple chores outside kind of use probably best (FYI- they apparently are a one-size fits all. I was not able to select a specific size on my order). They are very soft and have a really nice feel to them, and I suspect they will be fairly warm, even without an outer wind-blocking layer. I think my girls are going to like them.

Ladies Cabled Gloves

These gloves are warm, not bulky, with a pretty design. I like them so much I ordered a second pair to give as a Christmas gift.
