- This retro styled cap with its slightly slouchy body and jaunty pom-pom is sure to make someone on your list smile. The Buffalo wandering across the prairie grass are work in stranded color work. This standing on the body of the cap helps to keep warm without adding a lot of bulk.
Plan to use pattern to make hat for grandson’s birthday present. Will start soon
Everything is straight foward from the start. I like how someone took the time to highlight different things like change in needle size or size hats. I look forwarded to making this hat.
It looks like if a person follows the pattern exactly they will ended up with a great looking hat.
Thank you for explaining things so carefully.
Love the look of the pattern on the hat. Am very anxious to start. Still waiting for the yarn.
Five Stars for this pattern. I used Brown Sheep yarn from my stash to knit matching hats for my son and grandson. They wore them hiking in the mountains with temperatures in the low 20's, and stated the hats kept them warm the entire day.
The pattern was very clear, but I bought the kit and I don't think I had enough yarn for the medium brown part of the bison. Otherwise, everything was good!
